A History of some of Guardian Home Services Clients
In the beginning of Guardian Home Repair Services, Leon Watts started working on the homes of co-workers,neighbors and friends. This was a group that you know he had to keep happy ! As work was completed, the "clients" began to tell other people about the great results they experienced with Leon and his new home repair and remodeling company.
The picture of the home above, one of Leon's first projects, is the Mr. Lee Chase Family / "William Collins Residence" located in Handcock Park, and was one of the favorites by the Achitect Paul R. Williams. (Mr.Williams also designed the famous arches building seen at LAX and the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel, among many other famous buildings.) This house is on the list of Historical Homes in Los Angeles. Leon/GHS has been the exclusive maintenance and remodeling management company for this home and several other homes in the Handcock Park area.
GHS was hired initially to perform various carpentry jobs in and around this home. Restore original post that were termite damaged. Convert a window into a doorway and make it look as if it were part of the original design of the house. Built a deck and cover for entertaining. Removed a tree that was causing damage and enlarged the rear patio area. Subsequently, Leon was enlisted to solve problems and design solutions for several other issues that arose as time took it's toll on this home built in 1932. The current owner then recommended GHS to manage and maintain serveral other properties, belonging to family members.
The new refferals from several clients included real estate agents, apartment owners and even commercial businesses. Here is a partial list of cleints.

"I" became.."WE," and G.H.S. began to collaborate with other good business people and tradesmen. The services provided included minor repairs of all types....carpentry, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures and pipes, wall repairs, windows and doors, roof, sprinkler systems, pest control,insurance claims,inspections and representation of owners with city, state and federal agencies.
